Living at Sidbury Station
The practical appeal of this location is the road network. I-40 and I-140 are both close, which puts the Wilmington job centers, the medical corridor and the airport within a short, predictable drive, and makes the trip toward Raleigh or Jacksonville straightforward. Wrightsville Beach and downtown Wilmington are each an easy run for a weekend, while Castle Hayne itself stays quiet — farmland, the Northeast Cape Fear River, and Blue Clay Bike Park just down the road.
Growth is the story on this corridor. Sidbury Road and the surrounding New Hanover County stretch have drawn steady residential and commercial development, with more of both still coming. Sidbury Station has a head start on that: the pool is open, the streets are finished, and the amenity center is doing what it was built to do while the corridor around it fills in.
