Originally from Bedford, Virginia, Wendy started her career in real estate in 2002. Utilizing her background in Human Resources, Marketing, and Inside Sales, she was able to quickly become a top-producing agent before moving into the role of Broker/Manager in 2006. 

During her 20+ years, she has received numerous awards and certifications that have allowed her to follow her passion for real estate and educate her team through coaching and mentorship. Her desire to give back to her community is shown through the various volunteer positions she has held within the localities she’s served as well as her local REALTOR® Associations which included President of the Lynchburg Association of REALTORS® in 2013.

After relocating to Wilmington, NC in 2018 with her husband, she continued as General Manager for a Virginia Century 21 firm for over five years and began her career in North Carolina real estate by opening her own company a year later. When she’s not working, Wendy loves spending time with her family and enjoying the beaches and water lifestyle that our area offers.  She is fully committed to providing the best real estate service to her clients and empowering REALTORS® with the skills to be their very best! She is excited to continue her career in the Century 21 Network as the Broker-In-Charge of the Wilmington Century 21 Vanguard Office and be a part of the Wilmington real estate community.

Getting to Know You

1.  Why are you a good fit in real estate?
There is nothing more special than assisting someone with the ultimate goal of home ownership! Whether buying their first home or making a move, reaching their goal and seeing how happy they are is truly a gift that I enjoy. As a Manager, my clients have now shifted from Buyers and sellers to agents and their success is what brings me joy.

2. Where are you originally from?
I was born and raised in Bedford, Virginia, and later moved to Lynchburg after marrying my husband.

3. What brought you to the area?
Our love for the beach and boating brought us to Carolina Beach where we bought our Condo in 2015. We enjoyed it so much, we made the move full-time in 2018.

4. What are your favorite local restaurants?
We love Hang Ten Grill, El Cerrao Grande, Fentoni's, P.T's Grille. We also enjoy Jack Mackeral's, Whiskey Trail, Slice of Life.

5. What are your favorite activities in your downtime?
We love to go walking, relax on the beach, go fishing on our boat, and spending time with our friends kayaking.

6. What are your favorite sports teams?
I was born and bred as a Washington Redskin fan, now Commanders.

7. Do you play any sports?
No, not really athletically inclined but I love to walk!

8. Do you have any pets?
Not at this time. Our previous babies lived to be 16 and 17 before passing. I'm anxious to get another dog when the time is right.

9. What are you passionate about?
I have a servant mindset. Whether it's helping my family or the agents on my team, I am a helper! This is a learned trait from my Mother and one I'm proud of. My passion is truly to help others.

10. How important is Customer Service to you?
It is 100% the most important focus we should have. I don't care if something is more expensive or further away, if I am receiving good service I will go there. I take the same philosophy in my business. If you do your best and are kind to others, it will come back tenfold.
