Nilou came to Wilmington, NC to attend the University of North Carolina Wilmington and obtain her Bachelors of Arts in communication studies. She graduated early in December of 2023 and went on to start her own marketing agency specializing in photography, videography, and social media management. Her entrepreneurial spirit and her attention to upcoming trends make her the perfect candidate for real estate. 

She enrolled in real estate school one month after graduating and obtained her North Carolina real estate license shortly after. Since entering real estate, she’s leaned into her education in communication to deliver effective conversation about the needs of her customers and clients. Nilou has a passion for meeting new people and hopes to do so by assisting in the buying and selling of real estate. 

During her coursework in school, Nilou led marketing campaigns, took on large projects for clients, and even became a Vice President for a student-led marketing agency on campus. These examples prove her leadership skills and her ability to deliver quality products and performance for her clients. These fundamental traits are things that Nilou carries into her real estate career to provide clients with the expertise of an agent, leader, and friend.

1. Why are you a good fit for Real Estate?

I have an entrepreneurial spirit and I want to help people find their dream homes!

2.    Where are you originally from?

Charlotte, NC

3.    What brought you to the area?

I came to Wilmington to attend UNCW for a degree in communication studies.

4.    What are your favorite local restaurants?

Kipos, Circa 1922, Dockside, Indochine, Tequila’s, Cheesesmith, Brunches, and Ann Bonny’s. There’s probably way more but I can’t think of them all off the top of my head. I’ve tried a lot of places!

5.    What are your favorite activities in your down time?

Running, going to the gym, walking my dog, kayaking to Shark Tooth Island, going to the beach, hitting the events going on in Wilmington, checking out new local bars, coffee shops, and restaurants.

6.    What are your favorite Sports Teams?

Jets by boyfriend affiliation.

7.    Do you play any sports? If so, what sport(s) do you play?

I was a competitive dancer my whole life, although I don’t get to do it much anymore. I also did muay thai for a year recently! Now I’m just a casual runner and just recently joined the Wilmington run club.

8.      Do you have any pets?

Yes! I have a dog named Siyah and a bearded dragon named Saffron.

9.      What are you passionate about?

I’m passionate about health, nutrition, holistic lifestyles, travel, learning about new cultures, and making new friends. 

10.  How important is Customer Service to you?

As someone who’s worked in the service industry for years, customer service is very important. It can make or break your business!
